Host

As a host, you’ll engage with a huge variety of people, from overseas tourists to school groups to neighbours from up the road.

As a friendly and welcoming guide, you could be helping families to plan their visit, informing visitors about programmed events and activities or supporting school groups explore the areas they’ll find most exciting.

Information for applicants: If you are shortlisted, you will need to attend an informal selection day at Young V&A in Bethnal Green on Friday 3 July 2026 from 10:45 - 13:30. This is a chance to get to know us and find out more about the volunteer role.
